A Fantastic 19th Century French Louis XVI Style Dore Bronze Mounted Black Crystal Box. The box is composed of two sections of French black crystal which are mounted to a fabulous dore bronze latch. The doe bronze is beautifully hand-chassed and hand-chiseled with a wonderful elaborate design. Black crystal is one of the most sought after crystal colors, due to its scarcity and beautiful rich dark colorway. France, Circa: 19th Century.
