Large Chinese Cloisonné Standing Figure of a Guanyin A large standing figure of Guanyin is presented upright on a tiered circular base, cast in bronze and fully enriched with cloisonné enamel decoration. The figure wears a long flowing robe composed of layered panels that descend evenly to the feet, each section defined by gilt bronze wire borders. One hand is raised in a calm gesture, while the opposite arm rests naturally at the side, holding a long trailing sash. The head is crowned with an elaborate headdress centered by a small seated Buddhist figure, set above stylized hair arranged in a smooth domed form with finely incised linear detailing. Cloisonné enamel decoration covers nearly every surface, arranged in dense scrolling foliage and floral motifs. Turquoise blue dominates the ground, contrasted by areas of pale pink, deep cobalt, emerald green, and soft yellow. Gilt wire outlines create distinct decorative registers across the robe, sleeves, and sash. A central ornamental device appears at the chest, framed by symmetrical scrollwork, while repeated key patterns and beaded borders define transitions between panels. The circular base is similarly treated, decorated with lotus petals and scrolling designs arranged in upper and lower bands. The figure is identified as a Chinese cloisonné sculpture. Construction combines cast bronze, applied cloisonné wire, and carefully fired enamel, with selective gilding reserved for the face, hands, feet, and ornamental details.
