The surface is decorated with an expansive composition of cherry blossom branches that wrap continuously around the vessel. Open flowers, buds, and branching stems are rendered in layered tones of deep red and burgundy, standing out against a soft matte yellow ground. Leaves appear in darker overlays, each carefully defined with engraved veins and contoured edges. The decoration follows the curvature of the form in a balanced arrangement, while the upper neck is left undecorated, allowing the subtle color gradient of the glass to remain visible.
