Description

A Beautiful Pair of 19th Century French Dore Bronze and Enamel Two-Arm Candelabra/Lamps with Dolphin Branches. Each is cast from incredible dore bronze, the finest quality of gilt bronze from France. They are decorated with an array of motifs including Dolphin head arms, dore bronze falcons on the top with relief cast vines, leaves, swirling dore bronze arms, which terminate to multi-colored enamel bobeche's. The center body is dore bronze with black enamel decoration, which is further decorated with light orange and white leaves, and further adorned with gilding. Each of the candelabra rest on rectangular bases with lion-masks in high relief with garlands and a fluted-rim base. France, Circa: 1870
