A Pair of Early 19th Century French Ormolu Mounted Regence Chinese Celadon Crackle Centerpieces/Bowls. This pair of early 19th-century French ormolu-mounted centerpieces features finely executed Chinese celadon crackle porcelain bowls with meticulously chased gilt bronze mounts. The porcelain bodies exhibit a rich celadon green glaze with a pronounced crackle pattern that enhances the depth and texture of the surface. Intricately incised floral motifs are worked directly into the porcelain before glazing. The ormolu mounts, crafted in the Regence style, are of the finest quality, with hand-chased scrolling acanthus handles that extend outward in a graceful curve. The rims are adorned with a delicate running pattern of gilt beading and foliate motifs, framing the porcelain with a refined decorative border.
