The base is cast as a classical female figure with crossed arms, draped in a finely detailed gown, and wearing a stylized headdress that transitions into the tabletop support. The figure stands on a stepped, ebonized octagonal base. The top is black marble with pietra dura inlays depicting birds perched on branches and a central floral arrangement. The inlays use semi-precious stones such as malachite, lapis lazuli, agate, and jasper, creating a contrast against the dark stone background. The table combines French neoclassical design elements with pietra dura craftsmanship associated with Italian workshops, particularly those producing inlaid stonework for export during the 19th century.
