A lower stretcher connects the legs with curved supports forming oval reserves at each side, centered by a circular basket-form element with pierced sides and a raised rim. The surface is finished in gilt bronze with visible tonal variation, and the mounts show detailed chasing across the garland, ribbon, and beaded ornament. These tables are attributed to François Linke, the Master Craftsman of the Belle Époque, a Paris-based cabinetmaker known for producing furniture mounted with cast bronze elements.
